BREAK THE SHACKLES, FIND YOUR FREEDOM

BREAK THE SHACKLES, FIND YOUR FREEDOM

For an infinite amount of years, women have been made to feel inferior to men. No matter what the role, our society has always liked to impose restrictions, curtail wings and impose shackles on this gender. With time, roles have changed, many movements have begun, however, each day for women is a battlefield. And their freedom? A mirage.
In such a situation, women are their own lifeboats. And the power to find their freedom lies in their own hands. Here I would like to talk about some things that might act as weapons.
LITERACY AND INDEPENDENCE
In the current day and age, we cannot shy away from the importance of literacy for every individual. Even as the literacy rate has drastically increased over the years, the gender gap has only transcended. In such a situation, all women as a whole need to understand the importance of literacy and its direct relationship with awareness and independence, only then can women help others and themselves.
CONFIDENCE AND PASSION
Any conflict can be resolved in the presence of self-confidence. And given the ways in which society has treated women over the years, confidence is something they seriously lack. No woman is usually encouraged to follow her passion, the restrictions are blinding. However, taking a leap of faith is imperative. And so is letting other women do the same.
FASHION AND UNIQUENESS
Fashion has influenced women in significant ways. It helps them understand and own their individuality. It helps them see themselves as unique, respected individuals. Therefore, it is vital to let women choose for themselves. Nudity empowers some. Modesty empowers some. Different things empower different women and it’s not our place to tell her which one it is. If we really truly want to uplift women as a whole gender, perhaps the most powerful, we must understand and promote these things. Only then can we together break our shackles and find our freedom.
